This Wellness Wednesday, we’re spotlighting World Kindness Day, a day dedicated to reminding us of the power of kindness in our daily lives. Celebrated each year on November 13, World Kindness Day was first introduced in 1998 by the World Kindness Movement, a global coalition aimed at promoting kindness across borders. It’s a simple yet powerful reminder that acts of kindness—big or small—can have a lasting impact on others and ourselves.


Why focus on kindness? Kindness isn’t just about brightening someone else’s day; it has incredible benefits for our own mental and emotional well-being. Acts of kindness release feel-good hormones, reduce stress, and even increase our energy levels. Plus, kindness is contagious! Studies show that when one person acts with kindness, it inspires others to do the same, creating a ripple effect that spreads positivity.
